To the editor:
Three and a half years ago, I moved back to Jefferson with my daughter, Maggie. I was excited to be back in my hometown and watch her grow up and go to school where I did. I wasn’t planning on her having the exact middle school I did, though. When we walked into the middle school to register, it was like I had gone back in time to when I was there. Nothing had changed!
Our kids deserve something better, safer, and more accessible. We can’t keep putting Band-Aids on something that requires major surgery. That is why I am voting YES on April 3rd for our kids, our future, and for Greene County.
